Michael O’Leary, Founder of the Arkansas Learning Network, is a fifty-year professional educator and retired U. S. Army Lt. Colonel with foreign and domestic deployments. He has been a school administrator, charter school principal, athletic coach, and teacher. He was the Superintendent’s Designee for Student Behavior and Placement in Sacramento City Schools. Most recently, Michael served as the Assistant Superintendent of Education for the Arkansas Division of Youth Services and as Principal for the Arkansas Youth Challenge Program at Camp Robinson.
Mr. O’Leary has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Hayward University. He received his counseling certification from La Verne University and is a licensed teacher in Arkansas.
Michael’s passion is guiding young adults through educational and vocational experiences that lead to success in today’s world. He encourages a productive life style in one’s personal life, career path, and community endeavors. Michael lives in Maumelle with his wife and pet family.
