Ralph T. Hudson

Ralph T. Hudson joins the Board of Directors after volunteering for several years on the ALN Advisory Council, most recently as the Chairperson.  Mr. Hudson has a lengthy history of government service in the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing, serving since 2017 as Deputy Director and since 2019 as Director of their Division of Labor. Areas of expertise include OSHA Consultation and Code Compliance, AOSH (public sector safety & health), and MSHA (mine safety and health).  He also has responsibilities in the Bureau of Labor Statics and Labor Standards, along with overseeing the bi-annual Division of Labor Risk Assessments.

Mr. Hudson is affiliated with numerous business and non-profit organizations such as the Governor’s Earthquake Advisory Council, the Arkansas Emergency Management Association, the Alliance for Intergovernmental Leadership Committee, and the Little Rock Area Office of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. Ralph is a Board member of the National Association of Government Labor Officials and an Executive Committee Member of the Council of State Governments.

Mr. Hudson began his post-secondary education at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, earned a Paralegal Certification at Barclay College, and completed 60 hours of Criminal Justice course work at NWACC in Bentonville. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University.   

Ralph Hudson is a U. S. Navy veteran and is an Elder of the Mosaic Church of Little Rock.
