Janan Sickel

School Counselor

Janan Sickel is an experienced high school counselor who has also taught at the elementary and secondary school levels.  She is well-versed in school operations such as accreditation, comprehensive school counseling standards, master schedule development, state testing oversight, transcripts analysis and course development, utilization of student portals for grades and records, and family-student guidance services.

Ms. Sickel earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at Arkansas State University and a Master of Education at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, as well as an Educational Specialist degree.  She holds licensures for a P – 12 Building Level Administrator and Guidance and Counseling.  She also has teacher licensure for Middle Childhood Education, several core subject, and classroom guidance education. 

Janan is a long-time Arkansan with a family history in the agriculture industry.. She is committed to providing education and job training resources to all Arkansans.
