ALN is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
ALN Counselor
This position requires a current Arkansas Counseling License, a Master’s Degree in Education or a related field, and five years of experience as a high school or adult school counselor in a virtual or live venue.
Critical skills include the ability to: analyze school transcripts and GED scores accurately; develop course schedules; collect, interpret, maintain and report confidential information; and make appropriate support services referrals. Knowledge of Arkansas high school graduation requirements, experience with the Edgenuity curriculum and MindPlay Literacy Program online platforms, an understanding of the O-NET Career Survey/Profile, competency in digital functions such as Google Drive, Zoom, spreadsheets, etc., and the capacity to adjust effectively to change in a growing organization are essential. Previous participation in an accreditation process is a plus.
ALN Teacher-Mentor
This position requires a current Arkansas Teaching License, a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate subject matter, and at least two years of virtual and/or live classroom teaching experience at the high school or adult levels.
Critical skills include the ability to: interact individually with students to maximize their academic performance and personal growth in an online platform; accurately collect, maintain and report confidential information. Experience with the Edgenuity curriculum and MindPlay Literacy Program online platforms, competency in digital functions such as Google Drive, Zoom, spreadsheets, etc., and the capacity to adjust effectively to change in a growing organization are essential. Previous participation in an accreditation process is a plus.
