ALN is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

 

ALN Budget Analyst/Bookkeeper

The Arkansas Learning Network Inc. is seeking a person with experience in general finance, budget development, payroll, and expense/revenue data monitoring.  Expertise in QuickBooks data entry, maintenance, and reports development is a must.

Familiarity with budget formats used in non-profit organizations is a plus.

Other skills and knowledge include the ability to:

  • Monitor revenue from a variety of sources that may require separate and different accounting systems, data collection, and reports
  • Maintain all ALN financial records
  •  Maintain PayPal account transactions
  • Maintain the ALN checking account and produce monthly/other reconciliation
  • Monitor the ALN Line of Credit and Credit Card accounts, make payments, and prepare monthly reconciliation
  • Prepare and submit monthly ALN Income Statement and Balance Sheet to Executive Director
  • Prepare and submit professional financial reports in an accurate, timely manner as requested by the ALN Executive Director, i.e.

 Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End Reports

  • Prepare various Program Budgets, monitor throughout the budget cycle, and submit revisions as requested
  • Provide the ALN CPA with information required to prepare the Annual 990 filing

 

ALN Teacher-Mentor

This position requires a current Arkansas Teaching License, a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate subject matter, and at least two years of virtual and/or live classroom teaching experience at the high school or adult levels.

Critical skills include the ability to: interact individually with students to maximize their academic performance and personal growth in an online platform; accurately collect, maintain and report confidential information.  Experience with the Edgenuity curriculum and MindPlay Literacy Program online platforms, competency in digital functions such as Google Drive, Zoom, spreadsheets, etc., and the capacity to adjust effectively to change in a growing organization are essential.  Previous participation in an accreditation process is a plus.
