MARK OMMEN

Teacher-Mentor

Mark Ommen joins the ALN staff with extensive experience in education and the corporate sector. In his early career years, Mark worked with UPS in a variety of capacities as well as in print media and communications. He has worked in the field of education in charter schools, vocational academies, and most recently in the virtual instruction arena. He is an innovative instructor who has developed and implemented curriculum materials designed to enhance learning for at-risk students.

Mr. Ommen is a Licensed Educator with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Composition from California State University in Sacramento. He is a skilled instructor who focuses on student-family relationships to promote academic success. Mark is a dedicated professional who encourages the concept of ‘lifelong learning’ for youth and adults.
