Jodie Mahony
Jodie Mahony is a lifelong resident of Arkansas. He attended Hendrix College where he studied finance and history. He transferred to UALR and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications and history. Jodie served as a lobbyist for DDPA, AEDD, Easter Seals, and United Cerebral Palsy. During the pandemic, Jodie gratefully served as a substitute teacher for Maumelle Charter School and continues to do so.
Mr. Mahony is a strong supporter of community agencies. He has served on the board of Wolf Street Foundation as Vice President. He is also a master gardener who has been a board member for the past two years. In addition, Jodie has served three years on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Jodie has also been with the Little Rock Rotary Club for 10 years and served on the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, in addition to the Rotary Police and Fire Awards programs. He is currently a member of the Maumelle Rotary.
Mr. Mahony has been involved in politics since age 12 through his father, Senator Jodie Mahony II. He is a lifelong hunter, fisherman and conservationist, inspired by his uncles Emon A. Mahony Jr. and Michael Mahony, both of whom were Game and Fish Commissions.
